About the Speaker
With over 20 years of experience in the field of information technology, he has worked as a software development, business analysis, software quality, and user experience (UX) expert and consultant. He has held management positions in international companies for nearly half of his career, working in the United States, Germany, the Netherlands, China, and Greece. Additionally, he has been a speaker, panelist, moderator, and program committee member at more than 50 international conferences in over 30 countries. He shared his experiences in two books on "software quality" published in 2014 and 2015, becoming the first Turkish author to have a book published on Amazon in this field. In 2021, he wrote "Sırma's Friendship Manifesto," aiming to integrate and gamify the principles of technology into children's lives, and in 2024, he added a new children's book to this series titled "Selim and the Seven Mystical Principles." As of 2018, he is the co-founder and managing partner of the international technology consultancy and software companies TesterYou and Codejust, the chief advisor at Siliconmade Academy, and a part-time lecturer at various universities.

István Forgács, PhD, began his career as a researcher at the Computer and
Automation Research Institute of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. He has
published numerous scientific articles in leading international journals and
conference proceedings. He is the co-author of the books Modern Software Testing
Techniques, Practical Test Design, and Agile Testing Foundations.
In 1998, István transitioned from academia to entrepreneurship by founding Y2KO, a
startup that provided an efficient solution to the Y2K problem. He is also the founder
and CEO of 4Test-Plus.
István is a notable figure in the software testing community. He has served as an
author for the Advanced Test Analyst Working Group and was a member of the Agile
Working Group at ISTQB. He developed an intelligent mutation testing framework to
help testers enhance their test design skills. Additionally, he is the creator and key
contributor of Harmony, the only two-phase model-based test automation tool.

About the Speaker
Attila Kovács holds a BSc in Programming and Mathematics and an MSc in Computer Science from Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), Budapest. He spent several years in Germany and the Netherlands and began his career with a Youth Award from the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. Currently, he serves as a professor at ELTE’s Faculty of Informatics, where he also directs the Software and Data-Intensive Services Competence Center.
His research focuses on algorithmic number theory, cryptography, software quality, software testing, and reliable IT services. As a founder of the Hungarian Testing Board, he has been instrumental in advancing the field of software testing and leads several R&D projects in collaboration with industry partners.
Dr. Kovács is also an accomplished author, with notable books including Practical Test Design: Selection of Traditional and Automated Test Design Techniques (2019, ISBN 9781780174723) and Paradigm Shift in Software Testing: Practical Guide for Developers and Testers (2021, ISBN 9786150127811), both co-authored with István Forgács.
